Ove is a telemark-skier that loves fluidity and speed. Often seen charging down lines with great speed and speedy cliff-drops. Style is also important in his skiing, trying to keep the spirit of telemarking alive. His first appearance in the freeskiing scene was in Hemsedal 2005, at the age of 16. He is no stranger to the park either, doing huge 180’s with his telemark skis, landing it perfectly. But freeride is the big passion that takes up most of his time. Had his best competition year the 08/09 season, winning all four of the Norway Freeride Cup competitions. Including Røldal Freeride Challenge, the biggest freeride competition in Norway . That also is a Freeride World Tour Qualifier for the alpine guys. Ove is going to keep on skiing harder and harder, and hopefully we will see him in a movie in a few years. He is currently waiting with more studying. So he is working most of the year, earning money to ski as much as possible wintertime. His plans for the coming seasons is skiing a lot, and doing a lot of traveling in Europe and USA . Hopefully also do some filming and competing on the way. Ove also likes being in the nature hiking, climbing, biking or just relaxing, always with a smile. I have almost never seen him in a bad mood.

Favourite trick: big 180’s and big cliffs
Scariest skiing moment : Caught in an avalanche at Lemonsjøen. Was partly buried and needed help to get out. Was lucky and only got a bone fracture in a knee.
Ski-related injuries: Several ligament injuries in the knees. Bone fracture in the knee. Some crushed teeth.
Why do you ski: Because it is extremely fun! And you get to be in the nature and feel it’s powers. It also gives a lot of experience on many fields of outdoor living.
When not on the mountain you're... Working, Downhill bicycling, longboarding, having fun with friends and some partying.
Accomplishments you are most proud of: 1. Place Norway Freeride Cup (telemark) 09, 2. Place Hemsedal Freeride 05, big 180 on the biggest jump MegaPark 05, Qualifyer run Sauda BackCountryChallenge 09 and the fact that I’m almost always smiling.
Why do you wear Frig? Makes me look stylish. Keeps me head warm and the hair away from my eyes. And in some way I don’t get so hangover when wearing Frig.

Claim to fame: 18 meter cliff jump and switch 180, a 360 and a backflip in the same run Sauda BCC 09.
Favourite Scents: The fresh smell in the summer when the rain has cleaned the air after many sunny days. And the clean mountain air.
Favourite Drink (non alcoholic): Coca Cola and Ice tee peach

Favourite Food: A good steak. Fresh bread dipped in Borgny’s estragon sauce.
Favourite Junk Food: Kebab in pita.
Someone I look up to: People that don’t follow the crowd, and stands up for their meanings. People that dedicate their life to help others. And people that sets a goal, and don’t give up before they accomplish it.
What are you afraid of: Getting an injury so I can’t ski. Driving in big cities.
